Jajaira Gonzalez Coach

Hailing from Glendora, California, United States, Jajaira Gonzalez is representing Team USA in women’s boxing at 60 kg at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France. She has been training in the sport since a young age and has displayed her boxing skills in many International tournaments. She started off her International boxing career as a women’s featherweight boxer at the World Junior Championships in 2013.

Jajaira Gonzalez also participated at the World Youth Championships in 2014 and 2015 as a women’s lightweight boxer. She is notable for ranking second in the 2016 Olympic trials. She has won gold medals at the Junior World Championships, Youth World Championships, and Youth Olympics. She stopped being a boxer after 2018 and made a comeback to the sport in 2021. Since then, she participated in the World Championships as a women’s lightweight at 63 kg and ranked #9th. More recently, she qualified for the 2024 Olympics in Paris, France by winning a bronze medal in the 60kg division.

He was a boxer back in his hometown of Guadalajara, Mexico, and got his sons into boxing just for exercise rather than making them professional boxers.
