She also won three medals in her Olympic career.

Vonn made history at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver by becoming the first American woman to win a gold medal in women's downhill. She also won a bronze medal in that same Winter Olympics and another bronze medal at PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympics.
