
Rachel Tozier is an American sport shooter, who was born on April 1, 1992, in Liberty, Missouri. She was introduced to firearms by her stepfather and then started shooting competitively in 2006 alongside her mother and uncle. These friendly competitions made her fall in love with the sport.
Tozier also joined the US Army Marksmanship program on March 6, 2017, which gave an extra push to her shooting career. Since then, she has added multiple feathers to her hat. She won multiple medals in various competitions throughout the course of her career. She is a 2022 Shotgun National Champion in the Women’s Trap, and also the 2022 ISSF Lima World Cup winner in the Women’s Trap team. In the same year, she won her third gold at the ISSF Baku World Cup.
Tozier had a remarkable season in 2023 as well, as she won two golds in the 2023 ISSF Rabat World Cup in the Trap Mixed Team and Women’s Trap Team. She also attained a silver in the ISSF World Championship and a bronze in the 2023 Pan American Games which advanced her to the US Olympic quota in Paris.
Along with this, she also won a silver medal in the 2023 World Championship and a gold medal in the 2019 World Championship.
Apart from her achievements in shooting, she also loves weightlifting, sewing, cooking, and gaming, in her free time. Before joining the army, she competed in a few competitions as well.
