Wesley Brian Kitts, born on May 22, 1990, is an American weightlifter who will be representing the USA in the Paris Olympics. He is a two-time Pan American Champion and Pan American Games Champion.
Wes Kitts grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee, and initially pursued football before switching to weightlifting. He attended the University of Tennessee, where he played football and later focused on strength and conditioning. He graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in applied exercise science.
In 2018, Wes Kitts competed at the 2018 World Weightlifting Championships in the 109 kg division and finished 10th overall. He represented the United States at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. In 2023, at the Pan American Weightlifting Championships held in Bariloche, Argentina, he won the gold medal.
