5 Worst WrestleMania 30 storylines so far

With WrestleMania just around the corner, the WWE writers are in a chaotic rush to put together some credible match card for the biggest event of the year.Developing storylines for these matches is simply turning out to be the biggest talking point on the road to WrestleMania. While the feuds like Bray Wyatt- John Cena and Daniel Bryan-Triple H have taken centre stage due to the sheer brilliance with which they were put together, there are some others which fail to evoke emotions into the fans. These low profile affairs look like to be on a course bound to disappoint no matter what along with wasting the talent incorporated in them.So here is a look at all those stories in the roster which is going to get their place in WrestleMania only to end up giving disappointing endings.

#5 Tag Team division

After having a great consistent run in the company, the tag team division saw the Usos crowned as the new champions. However, this seems to be the final nail in the coffin as they have no big challenge for WrestleMania.

The New Age outlaws cashing in their rematch clause at WrestleMania only will give as a boring match as the veterans will find it hard to match up to the speed and charisma of The Usos. This leaves only Rybaxel and Rhodes Brothers as the only team which could face the Usos and both teams have squared off a plethora of times in the past as well.

Even if WWE makes a four way tag team match, there will be a great sense of predictability in the whole match as Usos’ are not going to lose their titles just like that.

Making them win the title before WrestleMania was something WWE didn’t had to do since now it makes the division look predictable.

#4 Captain Charisma and Sheamus

The heel turn that Christian had was actually one of the best decisions that WWE made in the New Year. And it was there to be seen when he came out and gave performances that made him stand out.

However, a couple of weeks after the Elimination Chamber, the WWE started to waste the momentum Christian had after repeatedly putting him against Sheamus. Sheamus and Christian had a great chemistry without any doubts but instead of saving it for the big stage the WWE decided to throw it out on a weekly basis.

Both superstars gave PPV quality matches in Raw and has given everything they could give into the feud. This leaves no room for another match at WrestleMania as they have already fought three or four times.

So having another match between the two at WrestleMania is sure to flop and it was a feud with great potential that was wasted.

#3 Langstons title run

A few months back, Langston was one of the hottest superstars in WWE with a title streak making him look like the only worthy champion in WWE. He was thrust into the main event scene as well alongside the lights of Daniel Bryan and John Cena but he soon fell down.

Langston suffered a loss to Randy Orton on SmackDown on one week and after which he never picked up the momentum he had before that.

He then was pushed back into the mix of ordinary mid carders in the company and had nothing special about his title despite showing immense potential.

He still doesn’t have a credible storyline heading to WrestleMania and interactions with the Real Americans is also didn’t help him any bit.

Choosing a credible opponent for this guy will be a tough task and even if they pick one, having a great match without buildup is not something that could happen.

#2 One Woman Army

Make no mistake about it, If AJ Lee is the longest reigning champion in the diva’s division it’s because she deserves to be.

She has been single handedly holding the divas division together for some time now and it’s only fair that she deserves a big WrestleMania moment. But the fact is she doesn’t have any opponent left in the division with whom she hasn’t defended her title.

To add salt to the wound, AJ is going to end up in the burial train thanks to the latest season of Total Divas. AJ is likely to end up on the losing side of many pushes given to the Reality television stars which is sure to take the sting of her title run.

She might even lose out the title at WrestleMania to the Bellas or Natalya which is something that she doesn’t deserve. Hopefully the WWE wouldn’t give someone like Eva Maria the title at WrestleMania coz that will be the ultimate stupidity that the creative could do.

#1 Hounds of Justice

Just when we thought that the Shield will make headlines in WrestleMania the WWE decided to pause their breakup and give them a week full of some senseless matches.

The trio was seen competing in random matches which didn’t push forward their storyline by any bit and left the fans confused as to what they will get from the Shield at WrestleMania.

Well the various rumors include a three on three match against Wyatt Family and Kane with the other possibility being a Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins going against Wyatt Family while Dean Ambrose will work against Big E in a unification match.

And the much teased triple threat match now seems to be out of question at the moment which means that the fans have to settle for whatever they get from the Shield no matter how disappointing it is.

The biggest angle wasted by WWE, is going to be one of decisions that is going to come back and bite them once all the smoke settles down.
