Thanks to dailywrestlingnews.com for the results of WWE’s Live Event held in Madison Square Garden, New York yesterday.

This Live Event marked the return of Randy Orton to WWE, after finishing his role for the WWE Studios upcoming action movie ‘The Condemned 2’. The Viper’s return into the ring made the crowd go wild and he defeated Kane in his comeback match. Also, this event saw Ziggler, The Miz and Damien Sandow, Sami Zayn retain their titles.

At the start of the event, the fans were given the decision to choose either a dance off or a match between Fandango and Jack Swagger. Also, it was announced that Hulk Hogan is scheduled to make an appearance on February 27.

  1. Dolph Ziggler beat Luke Harper to retain the Intercontinental Title. Ziggler got the near capacity crowd fired up with his entrance. Harper dominated early. They both got near falls with their finishing maneuvers. Ziggler kicked out of a second Harper clothesline and scored the pin after a second Zig Zag. Jamie Noble and Joey Mercury jumped Dolph after the match and Seth Rollins came in a gave a curb stomp and greeted everyone with a “Happy Holidays from the Authority!”
  2. Ryback beat Curtis Axel. Ryback destroyed Axel quickly after kicking out of the Perfect Plex.
  3. Sami Zayn defeated Adrian Neville to retain the NXT Championship. Both men got surprisingly strong reactions and lots of “NXT” chants from the MSG crowd. An early “Ole Ole Ole” chant also broke out. Zayn retained in a tremendous bout.
  4. Kane gave a backstage promo vowing to ruin Randy Orton’s return
  5. The crowd voted 55-45 for a dance off for Jack Swagger and Fandango. Rosa Mendes thrilled the virgins in the crowd with a seductive dance. Rosa and Fandango went first to a chorus of boos. Swagger did a J.J. Watt like dance with a “We The People” salute before Fandango attacked him. Swagger turned it around into the ankle lock before Fandango and Rosa ran off.
  6. Miz and Mizdow beat The Usos to retain the WWE Tag Team Championship. Miz grabbed the mike and destroyed the NY sports teams before the match, unfortunately, all of it was the truth. The Usos interrupted and got the crowd to cheer for Mizdow before singing Empire State of Mind. Miz and Mizdow retained. Miz got the pin after a missed Uso dive.
  7. Randy Orton beat Kane. Orton got a strong reaction before disposing of Kane quickly with the RKO.
  8. Alicia Fox and Emma beat Brie and Nikki Bella with Paige as special referee. All were dressed as Santa’s helpers except for Nikki. Alicia pinned Brie when Paige hit a fast count. Paige decked Nikki after the match.
  9. Santino Marella came out to recite a poem and was interrupted by the Big Show.
  10. Big Show beat Erick Rowan. Big Show got the pin after a short brawl.
  11. John Cena beat Seth Rollins (w/Jamie Noble, Joey Mercury) in a Street Fight. Cena got the biggest pop of the night easily with fewer boos than usual from the MSG crowd. Cena fought off Noble and Mercury with a double Attitude Adjustment and Kane, Orton, Big Show and Ziggler all ran in. Cena won after a second rope AA onto a table.

Overall a solid, entertaining three-plus hour show.
