What's the story?

WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins and current IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay have been going back-and-forth on Twitter in a heated social media war.

All Elite Wrestling and NJPW superstar, Chris Jericho has now chimed in on the recent exchanges between Rollins and Ospreay.

In case you didn't know...

The on-going social media altercation between Seth Rollins and Will Ospreay initially started when the current Universal Champion took to Twitter during the Stomping Grounds pay-per-view and praised the Cruiserweight Championship match which took place at the show.

Rollins, who also secured a huge Universal Title win over Baron Corbin at Stomping Grounds, also hinted in a tweet that he considers himself as the best wrestler alive in the Pro Wrestling business today.

This eventually got the attention of current IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion, Will Ospreay who had a bold reply in store for the Universal Champion. From there on, things started to take an ugly turn, as Rollins even claimed that new US Champion, Ricochet is a better version of 'The Aerial Assassin' and also claimed that he makes more money than the NJPW star.

The heart of the matter

In the aftermath to tonight's episode of Monday Night Raw, Chris Jericho chimed in on the ongoing Twitter feud between Will Ospreay and Seth Rollins, as he reminded the latter that Ospreay is actually a lot bigger than Rollins and noted that 'The Aerial Assassin' is 6'2 in height.

The former IWGP Intercontinental Champion also took a shot at Rollins' statement about WWE having the best Pro Wrestling on the planet.

What's next?

Chris Jericho is currently in preparation for his upcoming AEW World Championship match against Hangman Page at the upcoming ALL OUT pay-per-view.

Jericho is currently coming off a loss against Kazuchika Okada at the Dominion 6.9 pay-per-view and by the end of the show, it seemed like his next feud in NJPW is going to be against Hiroshi Tanahashi.
