#5. Paul Heyman has an idea for Becky Lynch's WWE return

Becky Lynch is a proud mother to daughter Roux. However, as time passes, speculation regarding the former RAW Women's Champion continues to grow louder.

Paul Heyman was a guest on Sports Media with Richard Deitsch, and The Special Counsel to The Tribal Chief discussed how WWE could reintroduce Lynch on TV.

Heyman labeled Becky Lynch an 'extraordinary talent .' He foresaw a marquee WrestleMania 38 return in 2022 for The Man.

Paul Heyman hyped up Lynch's highly-anticipated comeback in the same vein as the return scenarios of Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, and Ronda Rousey.

"Oh, Becky Lynch is an extraordinary talent. It would not only be very easy to write 'Becky Lynch/2022 WrestleMania' and the scenario, and the match, and how we get there. The most difficult thing about that, as it will be for what I envision for Roman Reigns, as it would be for how I would craft a Ronda Rousey scenario or a Brock Lesnar scenario, the most difficult part would be editing it."

Heyman added that booking an ideal WrestleMania 38 booking scenario wouldn't be a problem for a superstar as talented as Becky Lynch.

The advocate spoke highly of the former SmackDown Women's Champion and said that her skill set and willingness to push pre-existing boundaries guarantees a triumphant return to WWE programming.

"Because the flood of ideas for these extraordinary talents, who pushed themselves past their own limitations, is overwhelming at times, and you can only pick so many different scenarios because you have to let them all play themselves out. So, coming up with something for Becky Lynch for next year's WrestleMania is not the problem. Which one you decide on is the key, is paramount to the process because there's an infinite number of scenarios that Becky Lynch would excel in; she's just that talented and that willing to push her talents past her own parameters." There are presently no updates regarding the timeline for Becky Lynch's WWE return. Lynch has been training following her daughter's birth, and an in-ring comeback shouldn't be all that far away.

#4. Mark Henry on plans to have one more match, possible showdown with a current champion in WWE

Mark Henry first confirmed his plans to come out of retirement at the end of February, and the WWE Hall of Famer reiterated his desire during a recent interview with BT Sports.

Mark Henry talked about WALTER, and he praised the reigning WWE NXT UK Champion. Henry believed that WALTER could become a world champion in WWE within the next three years.

"I feel like WALTER is the cream of the crop. I think WALTER should be a world champion in the next two or three years. It’s all up to him. If he stays healthy and he wants to get better, you will see WALTER as a world champion."

Henry revealed his interest in facing WALTER, and the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion stated that he wants to have one more match before hanging up his wrestling boots for good.

"I want to have one more match before I completely say I’m never going to wrestle again. And WALTER is one of those guys that… he may need to be put in the Hall of Pain to make it, to be tempered by the fire that can make you a champion."
"I’m saying I think that would be a good fantasy warfare match. If it happened, it would be because WALTER called me out. Because he’s an active, current talent. It’s not up to me… I still have my wrestling boots!" H/t James Sullivan of Sportskeeda Wrestling

Mark Henry wants to emulate his friend Paul Wight's achievement of wrestling in four different decades. Henry feels lighter than ever and is ready to end his retirement. Henry had previously also teased a match against Randy Orton as they have some unfinished business.

Who would you like to see Mark Henry go up against in his first match since 2018?

#3. Chris Jericho on why he left WWE, Vince McMahon changing world title plans

Chris Jericho sat down for an interview with Inside The Ropes, and the former AEW World Champion discussed the circumstances leading up to his WWE departure.

Jericho revealed that the original plans for his feud with Kevin Owens included a WWE Universal Championship main event between the two at WrestleMania 33.

Y2J had never been a babyface world champion, and the idea was for him to win the Universal title at WrestleMania 33. Chris Jericho's storyline with Kevin Owens was one of the best angles for months in WWE leading up to that year's WrestleMania, and Jericho's face turn was a big moment.

"One of the original plans from Vince's (McMahon) mouth to my ears directly was the main event of WrestleMania, was going to be Jericho vs. Owens for the world title, and Jericho wins the title, for the first time ever as a babyface. I've never been a babyface world champion ever. Weird to think of it, right? Seven-time champion as a heel," Chris Jericho said.

Chris Jericho added that Vince McMahon changed WrestleMania's main event and decided to have a marquee match between Goldberg and Brock Lesnar for the big red belt.

Jericho mentioned that from a 'big money match' standpoint, Goldberg vs. Lesnar was a more prominent contest. However, Jericho believed that his story with Kevin Owens was more potent in comparison and deserved a significant payoff at WrestleMania 33.

Jericho felt insulted that his match with Kevin Owens went from the main event slot to being an afterthought.

"Next week, the plans changed, which Vince did not tell me, Goldberg vs. Brock for the title, because that's what they wanted to do. That's fine. Maybe from a marquee standpoint, that might have been a bigger money match, but from a story standpoint, ours was worth more. But the difference was we went from the main event to being put on second. That's an insult because the second match is just another match. Either you're on last, or you're on first, and maybe the semi-main event. But that's it, those are your big money spots at WrestleMania," Jericho said. H/t Nishant Jayaram of Sportskeeda Wrestling

Chris Jericho lost a United States title match to Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 33, and The Demo God faced KO on a few more occasions before ending his stint in WWE. Jericho was written off WWE TV through a Kevin Owens attack.

#2. Edge talks rejecting WWE's idea to break The Undertaker's WrestleMania streak

Edge recently spoke to ESPN and opened up about when he turned down a proposed plan to end The Undertaker's legendary WWE WrestleMania streak.

Edge faced The Undertaker for the World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of WWE WrestleMania 24, and there was backstage talk about The Rated-R Superstar to conquer the streak.

Edge outrightly shot down the pitch and added WWE should not have ended The Undertaker's streak until The Deadman's final WrestleMania appearance. Edge explained that he didn't need the streak as he was already an established star in 2008.

The 11-time WWE Champion added that Roman Reigns would have been the ideal superstar to end The Undertaker's streak.

"In the lead-up to it, I was asked 'What do you think about ending The Streak,' and I said no. Adamantly no. I don't think it ever should've ended until what we knew was his final WrestleMania, and then even no. I just didn't think it was right; I also didn't think at that point in my career I needed it. I think that that should have been saved for someone who you want to strap the rocket to, and you know, and you trust and is—to me, Roman Reigns was the guy to do it." H/t WrestleZone

Brock Lensar was handed the honor of breaking the streak at WrestleMania 30. Fans have widely criticized the finish and the entire match itself over the years, and in hindsight, Roman Reigns could have been the better choice.

#1. Nixed WWE plans for WrestleMania 37, spoiler on another addition

WWE announced a Women's Tag Team turmoil match for Night One of WrestleMania 37.

Four teams have been announced to compete in the Tag Team Turmoil match, and the winner will face Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship on Night Two of WrestleMania 37.

WrestleVotes reported that WWE's original plan was to have a Women's Battle Royal. The final two survivors would have formed a tag team to face the champions on the following night at WrestleMania 37.

Original idea prior to the Women's Tag Team Turmoil match being decided on was to have the annual Women's Battle Royal where the final 2 would be "winners" & form a tag team the next night. Much like the WM 15 Battle Royal that Test & D'Lo won, then lost later to Owen & Jarrett.

The teams of Naomi & Lana, Mandy Rose & Dana Brooke, The Riott Squad, and Tamina & Natalya have been confirmed for the match, but WWE could add another team could be added to the mix.

A deleted WrestleMania 37 graphic teased the addition of Carmella and Billie Kay to the match. WWE also dropped hints of a new alliance on SmackDown when Carmella was shown checking out Billie Kay's resume.

The WrestleMania 37 match card currently has 14 matches after the Women's Tag Team announcement.
