Wind Breaker season 2 episode 12 will be out on Friday, June 20, 2025, at 12:26 AM JST, as scheduled by the official site of the anime series. The episode provides a disorienting combination of revelation and reflection.

Endo's sudden presence shows his horrible connection to Shizuka's kidnapping, which deepens Furin's own charged fight. Endo's comments ruin her standing with Sakura altogether, not even broken by Suzuri's honest admission of guilt and honest meal.

The sudden session of gaming returns to some tranquility, but the rooftop scene with Umemiya builds up intense indications of the inevitable future confrontation. It is an interesting combination of drama and suspense, but it ends, leaving the viewer in a sort of silence.

Wind Breaker season 2 episode 11, After the Storm, follows through on the emotional aftermath of Endo's return, and strengthens the Furin first-years and GRAVEL bonds. The episode resumes a serene dinner scene at a hotel. Sakura, Suzuri, and other students are taking a meal, but Sakura is clearly disturbed by the recent experience with Yamato Endo—a former Furin legend turned villain.

The scene transitions to a flashback in Keisei Street. Endo shows up unexpectedly, gloating about obtaining another Furin card. In spite of the first-year students not wearing their uniforms, he easily identifies them.

Tsubakino challenges Endo, but he dismisses this, boastfully jumping off a rooftop, but with a clumsy landing. The tension builds as Endo approaches them, with a menacing energy around him. Sakura, Tsubakino, and Kanji all feel his bloodlust. Endo starts to taunt them, referring to them with thinly veiled contempt.

Next comes a jaw-dropping surprise: Endo abducted Shizuka. Suzuri appears, announcing Endo was seeking him. When Sakura questions him, Endo ignores Sakura and asks to be introduced.

Tsubakino reveals Endo's history with Furin, surprising everyone. Suo calls him a legend, and Nirei verifies that all members of Furin are familiar with his name. Nonetheless, Sakura isn't impressed, declaring that a man who employs abduction does not deserve respect.

Endo then informs Sakura that he doesn't fit in with Furin because his talents are wasted among a group. This stirs Nirei to say something in Sakura's defense despite his voice shaking. With the escalated tension, Kanji and Tsubakino attempt to attack Endo, but he manages to evade them.

Kanji reinforces that there is no one better suited for Furin than Sakura. Oddly enough, Endo confesses that he was not insulting Sakura—he thinks Sakura is actually better alone. But Sakura refuses completely.

Suzuri intervenes again and is responsible for the whole ordeal, saying Endo appeared due to him. Suzuri bows and begs Endo to leave him and the other people out of their problem. Endo is amused and says he'll go for now, adding that he will frighten his client into leaving Shizuka alone. As Endo departs, he threatens to come back to Furin soon. When Sakura attempts to stop him, Endo pushes him aside as if he's invisible.

After returning to the hotel, Sakura remains furious. Suzuri apologizes, but Sakura explains that his fury isn't directed at him. It's regarding what Endo represents: arrogance, detachment, and disregard for ties.

With the tension in the room calming down, Tsubakino orders Suzuri to eat before the food gets cold. Suzuri cries as he eats and exclaims that he has never had anything taste as good in his life. Tsubakino reassures him that he no longer needs to worry—GRAVEL is finally headed in the right direction.

Tsubakino then asks Suzuri about something he enjoys. Suzuri admits he’s a fan of video games, though he doubts they can play at the hotel. Just then, Hidaka surprises everyone with a console. Suzuri lights up, and the group joins him in playing, finally experiencing a moment of genuine peace.

Later at night, Kanji asks Tsubakino quietly whether he had anticipated Endo attacking Furin. Tsubakino replies that he has already spoken with Umemiya, implying a plan is being made. Kanji cautions that if Endo compliments Sakura, something greater will come. At this time, Tsubakino gets a message and immediately orders Sakura, Suo, and Nirei to gather on the rooftop of the school the following morning.

The last scene is set on the rooftop. All Four Kings, including the first-years, gather. The atmosphere is tense. At this moment, Umemiya appears, hinting that something big, some confrontation, or announcement is about to happen. The show ends there, with the audience left hanging on the edge.

What to expect from Wind Breaker season 2 episode 12? (speculative)

Since the previous episode ended on Umemiya and other high-ranking members of Furin gathering up at the rooftop, Wind Breaker season 2 episode 12 will most likely pick up from there. The episode will focus on Umemiya's reaction after Endo's warning of coming back to them.

Since Endo used to be a part of the Bofurin, it will be very interesting to see how the anime portrays the backstory behind it.
