The Atlanta Braves has a long term association with their current manager Brian Gerald Snitker. Having started his professional playing career in the minor leagues of the team, Snitker resorted to being a minor league manager post his playing career. Although being released by the team, he remained as a roving instructor and also managed minor league teams like the Anderson Braves, Durham Bills, Macon Braves, Myrtle Beach Pelicans, Greenville Braves, Mississippi Braves and Richmond Braves. He also coached the Atlanta Braves in 1985, from 1988-90 and then from 2007-13.
