Cam Leiter is a college baseball player who plays for the Florida State Seminoles team . He joined the Seminoles after spending his freshman season playing for the playing for the UCF Knights baseball team in 2023. As a freshamn, Leiter made 14 starts while posting a 3-2 record over 56.2 innings of work with 80 strikouts and an ERA of 4.92. Notably, his performances led him to be unanimously selected to the AAC All-Freshman Team that same year.

Moreover, Leiter comes from a family with a rich baseball background, Kurt Leiter, Cam's father, played baseball at Oklahoma State University and also had a professional career in the Orioles organization. His uncles Mark Sr. and Al Leiter were also involved in the sport during the peak of their careers. Cam Leiter joined the University of Central Florida in 2023 and began playing for its baseball team, the UCF Knights. In his freshman season in 2023, he started 14 games for the Knights. Cam also received the Unanimous AAC All-Freshman Team accolade in the same season. Additionally, he was honored with the D1 Baseball Preseason AAC Freshman of the Year award in 2023.

For his sophomore season 2024, Cam Leiter transferred to Florida State University to continue his studies and playing career while majoring in interdisciplinary social studies.

Cam Leiter attended Central Regional High School where he played both hockey and basketball. As a center/left wing in hockey, he played for ten years until ninth grade. While playing basketball, he was a guard for seven years. His accomplishments included winning the County Champion title with Central Regional Golden Eagles in 2021. Additionally, he was recognized as a First Team All-State and Shore Conference Player of the Year as a senior. Cam Leiter was a two-year letter winner at Central Regional High School.
