
Craig John Counsell is the manager of the Chicago Cubs as of May 2025. Hailing from South Bend, Indiana, United States, he had represented various teams in the MLB from 1995-2011. Throughout this time, he also won two World Series titles - with the Florida Marlins in 1997 and with the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2001.
Post his MLB playing career, Counsell briefly worked in the front office as well as was the color analyst for the Milwaukee Brewers before transitioning to become their manager in 2015. He continued the same till 2023, during which his team won the NL Central Division title thrice.
