Gerrit Alan Cole has been one of the most prominent pitchers for the New York Yankees in Major League Baseball (MLB) in present times. Known by his nickname, “Chief G”, he first debuted in the MLB as a member of the Pittsburgh Pirates on June 11, 2013. Notably, the team had drafted him in the 1st round in 2011.
