Kris Bryant, who is also known by his nickname KB, is a third baseman and outfielder for the Colorado Rockies in the Major League Baseball (MLB). He went to Bonanza High School in the Las Vegas Valley, Nevada before playing college baseball for the San Diego Toreros. After winning the Dick Howser Trophy and Golden Spikes Award in 2013, he was picked by the Chicago Cubs as the second overall selection in the 2013 MLB draft.

The four-time All-Star began his professional career in the minor leagues and made his MLB debut on April 17, 2015, playing for the Chicago Cubs. After guiding the Cubs to the World Series title in 2016 as the National League (NL) Most Valuable Player (MVP), he moved to the San Francisco Giants in 2021. The one-time NL Hank Aaron Award winner joined the Colorado Rockies in 2022.
