Luke Stevenson attended Wake Forest High School in Wake Forest, North Carolina, United States. There, he played varsity baseball for his school team, the Wake Forest Cougars. He played on the school team from his freshman 2019 season to his senior 2022 season. As a member of the team, he was notable for being a four year letter winner under coach Carlos Varela.

Stevenson’s 2023 season with the team proved to be impressive. He hit 17 home runs, 58 RBIs and 11 doubles and became the state leader in home runs and RBIs. He also led his team to the NCHSAA 4A East Region championship. Additionally, his team finished as the runners up in the State Championship Finals series. Due to his performances, Stevenson was honored as 2023 Prep Baseball Report North Carolina Player of the Year, 2023 Max Preps and Perfect Game First Team All-America honors, 2023 4A Northern Atlantic Conference Player of the Year and 2023 North Carolina Baseball Coaches 4A Player of the Year. He was also recognized as the #9 overall prospect in North Carolina by Perfect Game.

Throughout Luke Stevenson’s high school career, he played 74 games and hit 25 home runs along with 93 RBIs. He had a batting average of .456, an .OBP of .612 and an .OPS of 1.624. Moreover, Luke Stevenson graduated from Wake Forest High School in 2023.
