Call of Duty League 2024 Major 3 has just concluded and OpTic Texas bagged the win in the event. The team bested 12 competing teams starting from the five-week qualifier series to the four-day tournament weekend from May 16 to 19, 2024. The Major 3 main stage was hosted by Toronto Ultra in Mattamy Athletic Center in Toronto, Canada.

Who won the Call of Duty League 2024 Major 3?

OpTic Texas, also known as the Green Wall, won the Call of Duty League 2024 Major 3. Their victory marked the end of their 805-day major title drought. The team defeated tournament hosts Toronto Ultra in the Grand Finals, sweeping the series 4-0.

Before the final series, the Green Wall fell to the Elimination Bracket after losing to Ultra in Winners Round 2. From there, the team sent home three teams including the heavy favorites to win the tournament, Major 2 winners Atlanta FaZe.

The four-man squad is composed of Shotzzy, Kenny, Dashy, and Pred, with their coaches, Karma and JP Krez.

Who is the MVP of the CDL 2024 Major 3?

Shotzzy was crowned the MVP of the final series against Toronto Ultra. At the end of the tournament, he boasted 104 kills and recorded a 1.37 K/D ratio. While all team members did well in the matches, Shotzzy executed most of the clutch plays.

As the Major 3 champions, OpTic Texas brought home $150,000 prize money and 100 CDL points. Meanwhile, 2nd placer Toronto Ultra bagged $90,000 and 75 CDL points, and 3rd placer Atlanta FaZe won $60,000 plus 60 CDL points.
