Players can now equip a total of eight attachments to their weapon builds in Warzone and Black Ops 6. Although the feature was available in Black Ops 6 from day one, it was absent in Warzone. However, after the integration of the two games, players can now equip eight attachments to their Black Ops 6 weapons in Warzone as well.
This gives them the ability to modify their builds more than they have been able to in recent years; thus giving them more control over how they want their weapons to behave. It's a pretty straightforward process and all it requires is a Wildcard.
Let's take a closer look at how players can equip eight attachments to their weapon builds in Warzone and Black Ops 6.
How to equip 8 attachments to weapons in Warzone and Black Ops 6
To equip all eight attachments to weapons in Warzone and Black Ops 6, players must use the Gunfighter Wildcard. This special Wildcard rids of the five attachment limit on all Black Ops 6 weapons, allowing players to use three additional attachments. It is worth noting here that players will still be limited to five attachments on the MW3 and MW2 weapons.
However, the Gunfighter Wildcard won't be available right out of the bat and players must unlock it first. Fortunately, since the progression system is integrated, this can be unlocked for both games after reaching player Level 33.
Once the Gunfighter Wildcard has been unlocked, simply equip it to the loadout in the new Wildcard section. After doing so, players can head over to their Gunsmith and they'll now be able to equip eight attachments on all Black Ops 6 weapons. However, it is only applicable to the Primary weapon and cannot be used for weapons in the Secondary slot.
This means the benefits of the Gunfighter Wildcard can only be reaped for classes that include Assault Rifles, SMGs, Shotguns, LMGs, Marksman Rifles, and Sniper Rifles.
