An iconic Call of Duty mode might come back in the Black Ops 6
In a recent X post, @Semtex shared reports of the return of the Sharpshooter mode, which was featured in Black Ops 1 and 2. In the same post, we can see an image of Nuketown, which suggests that this mode might become available on the map. Previously, this mode became very popular among players, where it was featured as a Wager Match game mode in Black Ops 1 and a Party Games mode for Black Ops 2.

Sharpshooter Mode Explain
This iconic Call of Duty mode begins with six players, each starting with the same randomly selected weapon. The gameplay lasts for 45 seconds, during which players try to get as many kills as possible. Once the 45 seconds are over, they receive a new randomly selected weapon, which they use for another 45 seconds.
This process continues for 5 minutes and 15 seconds until they use seven randomly selected weapons from the game. Interestingly, there is no score limit in this Call of Duty mode. The last round, also called the Sharpshooter Round, is vital, as players earn double points for each kill. This mode also offers certain perks inside the match.

Players who get the 2x score multiplier perk can get 400 points per kill during the Sharpshooter round unless they are eliminated. However, the respawn feature allows players to rejoin the match and earn 200 points per kill in the last round. The player with the highest number of kills in a match wins.
That said, this mode might get some changes for Black Ops 6, similar to what we saw in the recent Prop Hunt mode. If such a mode is indeed introduced in the latest title, players can expect to get official updates.
