Jeremy Roach is an American basketball point guard who has transferred to Baylor Bears for his final season of college basketball. He started playing high school basketball at the Paul VI High School where he averaged 19.1 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.9 steals per game during his senior year and led his school to the VISAA D-I State Championship. He missed his junior season due to an ACL injury. Roach was honored with the Virginia Gatorade Player of the Year in 2019 after leading the Panthers to a 27-8 record. Following his prep career, Roach became one of the most sought-after prospects in college basketball and was ranked the No.1 player in the state of Virginia in the 2020 recruiting class.

Jeremy Roach started his collegiate basketball journey with the Duke Blue Devils over offers from Arizona, Kentucky, Maryland, Miami, North Carolina, Texas, USC, and Virginia. He played in all 24 games during his freshman campaign and averaged 8.7 points per game. For the next four years, Roach saw action in 130 games with 108 starts and accumulated 1469 points. Last season, Roach tabbed a career-high 14.0 points with 3.3 assists and 2.5 blocks. After spending four seasons with the program, Roach decided to transfer to Baylor with only one season of eligibility remaining.

Despite not wanting to leave Duke, Roach announced he will transfer to Baylor for his final season of eligibility, foregoing the 2024 NBA Draft.
