The Katrina McClain Award is an annual award that recognizes the best women's basketball power forward in the NCAA Division I competition. This award is named after the legendary Hall of Famer, Katrina McClain-Pittman.

Katrina McClain-Pittman herself is a two-time USA Basketball Female Athlete of the Year, and also has a collection of two Olympic gold medals, one Olympic bronze medal, and three FIBA World Championships medals. In her senior season at Georgia, she was also honoured as the WBCA National Player of the Year.

This award was first awarded in 2018 and since then every year this award is presented. The winner of the Katrina McClain Award is determined by a selection committee consisting of Hall of Famers, WBCA coaching members, and members of the media.

The selection committee is headed by Katrina McClain-Pittman herself. In addition to the selection committee's input, fan voting through the Hall of Fame's website is also incorporated into the selection process.
