Kimberly Duane Mulkey has turned out to be one of the most successful head coaches in women’s college basketball games under NCAA Division I. As the present head coach of the LSU Lady Tigers, she became the NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Tournament Champion in 2023.
Kim Mulkey has been a former women’s college basketball player for the Louisiana Tech Lady Techstars. She became the NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Tournament Champion with her team in 1982.
She started her head coaching career with the Baylor Lady Bears of the Big 12 Conference in 2000/01 season and continued in the role till the 2020/21 season.
