Lexi Donarski plays college basketball at North Carolina Tar Heels women's basketball in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). Lexi Donarski is a graduate student and plays as a guard, using her fifth season of eligibility, as of January 2025. She started her collegiate career with the Iowa State Cyclones women’s basketball team in 2020. She spent three years with them before joining the North Carolina Tar Heels women’s basketball team at the beginning of the 2023-24 season.
As a freshman, Lexi Donarski started every one of Iowa State's 28 games throughout the season. She became the second Cyclone in history to win Big 12 Freshman of the Year after recording a team-high 53 triples. Donarski received a spot on the All-Big 12 First Team during her sophomore season, starting all 35 games. Despite COVID-19 ending her senior tournament run, Lexi Donarski led the Blugolds to two State Championship victories. In addition to being crowned Wisconsin's Gatorade Player-of-the-Year and Miss Basketball in 2020, she was named to the First Team All-State in both 2019 and 2020. She received an invitation to Steph Curry's SC30 Elite Camp in California and was a member of the Jordan Brand Classic and McDonald's All-America team.
