Hailing from Liberty Hill, Texas, Andon Thomas was a Liberty Hill High School student and member of the All-A’s Honor Roll. He won the Austin-American Statesman Central Texas Defensive Player of the Year in 2021 and also won the High School Sports Awards Austin Area Defensive Player of the Year in the same year. The two-time District MVP, winning the honors two consecutive years, 2020 and 2021. Thomas won First Team All-State honor in 2020. He also has Austin-American Statesman Central Texas Newcomer of the Year and First Team All-District honors of 2019 to his name.
