Penn State cornerback Cam Miller has been one of the consistent performers for the Penn State Nittany Lions over the past two seasons. Miller started his high school football career at Fernandina Beach High School where he was a team captain and two-time MVP during three seasons with the program. Miller then transferred to Trinity Christian Academy where he was rated a four-star recruit by every major sports outlet and was ranked the No.11 running back in the state of Florida and rated as the No.18 prospect in the state of Florida in the 2022 recruiting class. As a senior, Miller led Trinity Christian to the Class 2A State Championship.
Miller started his collegiate football journey with Penn State over offers from Air Force, Duke, Florida, Georgia Tech, Miami, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Rutgers, UCF, and Virginia. In his true freshman season with the Nittany Lions in 2022, Miller saw action in 11 games, making five tackles with three solo. Last season as a sophomore, Miller had a productive season with the Lions appearing in all 13 games and earning the Academic All-Big Ten honours. He finished the 2023 season with 24 tackles, four tackles for loss, one interception and three sacks. Miller was Penn State’s most-used reserve with an overall defensive grade of 77.4. With Penn State losing a few crucial players ahead of the 2024 season, Miller could expect an uptick in playing time in his third season with the Nittany Lions.
