Dylan Edwards NIL Deal

Last Modified May 31, 2024 10:42 GMT

Dylan Edwards is an American college football running back who most recently signed for the Kansas State Wildcats. The highly-rated running back began his high school football journey at the Derby High School where he was regarded as one of the top 200 players in the 2023 recruiting class. During his varsity years, he rushed for 6,426 yards and 95 touchdowns on 622 carries out of the 36 games he played. He was a consensus four-star recruit and was ranked the second-best player from the state of Kansas in the class of 2023. The 2021 Gatorade Player of the Year winner helped the Derby Panthers secure two Kansas 6A state championships both, as a freshman and a sophomore.

The former four-star running back from Derby chose to sign with the Colorado Buffaloes over offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Illinois, Iowa State, Kansas State, Notre Dame, Oregon, and Wisconsin among others. In his freshman season, Edwards saw action in all 12 games, catching 36 passes for 299 yards and four touchdowns. He also rushed for 321 yards for the Colorado Buffaloes last season. After a stellar freshman campaign, Dylan decided to take his talent elsewhere and entered the transfer portal in 2024. The former Kansas Gatorade Player of the Year committed to the Kansas Wildcats with three years of eligibility remaining.
