Kurtis Rourke is a quarterback and played the 2024 season as a redshirt senior for the Indiana Hoosiers. He hails from Oakville, Ontario, and attended Holy Trinity High School. Kurtis Rourke played 48 games in college football as of the 2024 season, with 46 starts. He made 36 appearances and 33 starts for the Ohio Bobcats from 2019 to 2023 before committing to Indiana for the 2024 season. Rourke threw for 3,042 yards and 29 touchdowns in his 2024 season at Indiana, both single-season program records. He was named to the All-Big Ten Second Team and was either a finalist or semifinalist for the Manning, Maxwell, Walter Camp, Davey O'Brien, and Johnny Unitas Golden Arm awards. He was also named the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week three times. Throughout his career at the college level, he registered notable individual performances, such as his 537 yards for four touchdowns against Fordham and six touchdowns against Purdue.

Kurtis Rourke attended Holy Trinity Catholic High School in Oakville, Ontario, Canada, under head coach Matt Hassett. He was rated as a three-star prospect by ESPN and the No. 1 overall prospect in Canada by 247Sports. Rourke was also ranked in the top 100 quarterback recruits in the country, receiving the No. 62 ranking from ESPN and the No. 97 ranking from 247Sports. At Holy Trinity, he led the team to the Halton Championship as a junior, was a league MVP twice, and was also named to the All-Star first team. He threw for 4,250 yards and 63 touchdowns, from which 705 were rushing yards for six touchdowns.
