Michigan Wolverines Football Roster
The Michigan Wolverines football team plays in the Big Ten conference and represents the University of Michigan, being the most successful team in college football history. The Wolverines finished the 2023 season as National Champions with a 15-0 record. They won their first national championship game since 1997 at the NRG Stadium in Houston. The Wolverines are currently led by Sherrone Moore who succeeded former head coach Jim Harbaugh following his move back to the NFL with the Los Angeles Chargers.
The Wolverines have lost a record 13 players to the NFL last season with the offense taking a serious hit. They lost 10 out of 11 total starters on offense from a year ago in the draft this year and there are some significant changes heading into the new season. The first on the list is offensive lineman Josh Priebe who transferred from Northwestern this summer. With the entire offensive line gone, Priebe is going to be a crucial player for the Wolverines in 2024. Michigan had the most dominant offensive line for the last three years and now they are starting from scratch. Next on the list is returning defensive tackle Mason Graham who earned the All-American honours as a sophomore.
They will also have cornerback Will Johnson who is the highest-rated player in EA Sports CFB 25. His talents have been acknowledged by his All-American first-team selection, and defensive MVP honour in the 2023 National Championship Game. Another player on the 2024 roster is tight-end Colston Loveland, a junior who finished third on the team last season with 45 catches for 649 yards and four touchdowns. He is also one of the players to look out for, who has unique hands that can catch anything around him and is the only returning starter on the offensive line. Michigan Wolverines start their 2024 season on September 1, 2024, against Fresno State.
