Oklahoma Sooners Football Schedule 2024-25

The Oklahoma Sooners football team competes in the NCAA Southeastern Conference. The 2023 season was the last season the Sooners played in the Big 12 Conference. Oklahoma finished in the 3rd place in the Big 12 last season with 7-2 in the conference and 10-3 overall. In 2024, the Oklahoma Sooners will play their first season in the SEC.

November 9 - Missouri Tigers

The Oklahoma Sooners and their rivals, the Missouri Tigers, will face each other in November 2024. Oklahoma is now a part of the SEC along with Missouri, so the game will be important for both teams to have a favorable record in the conference.

November 23 - Alabama Crimson Tide

The Oklahoma Sooners will face the Alabama Crimson Tide almost at the end of their season. The Sooners will host last season’s SEC West Division Conference champions. This game might be decisive for the Sooners to book a place in the championship.

Where are the Oklahoma Sooners’ games held?

The Oklahoma Sooners play their home games at the Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. The home stadium of the Sooners was first opened on October 20, 1923. It was most recently renovated and expanded in 2016. The stadium was renamed in 2002 to its current name in honor of the Gaylord family, who donated a total of $50 million to the university.

The renovated Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium has a capacity of 80,126 fans. But in 2017, the stadium recorded 88,306 fans in a game against TCU in November. The stadium will host most of the Sooners’ home games in 2024.
