Last season, Shough was limited to only four games after he sustained a season-ending knee injury and ended the year with 746 passing yards, seven touchdowns and four interceptions. After three years at Lubbock, Shough decided to transfer to the Louisville Cardinals for his final season of eligibility in 2024.
