Badgers wide receiver Will Pauling who will play his junior year of college football in 2024 has grown into the program’s best offensive player. Pauling began his high school football career at Homewood-Flossmoor High School where he totaled 50 receptions for 951 yards and 20 touchdowns as a junior. Pauling was rated a three-star recruit by every major sports outlet and was ranked the No.23 overall prospect in the state of Illinois. Due to limited game time at Cincinnati, Pauling entered the transfer portal in 2022 and secured a commitment from Wisconsin football with three years of eligibility remaining. Last season as a sophomore, Pauling had a productive season for the Badgers and led the program with 74 receptions for 837 yards and six touchdowns. Pauling was tied for the fifth-most catches (74) in the program’s history for a single season.
