Will Pauling is an American college football player who enters his second season with the Wisconsin Badgers. The wide receiver from Chicago has grown into the program’s most explosive offensive player after a solid first season with the Badgers. Pauling began his football career at Homewood-Flossmoor High School where he was ranked the 33rd best recruit in the state of Illinois in the 2021 recruiting class. The following year as a redshirt freshman, Pauling saw additional playing time as he appeared in nine games while tallying 12 receptions for 122 yards. Following the conclusion of the 2022 regular season, Pauling entered the transfer portal and transferred to the Wisconsin Badgers in the 2023 season. Last season, Pauling was the program’s best receiver as a redshirt sophomore and led the Big Ten conference in receiving yards as a slot receiver. In his breakthrough campaign, he led the program with 74 receptions for 837 yards and six touchdowns in 13 games. Pauling has grown into the Badgers’ most offensive player and is in line for a big 2024 season.
