#2 Overdependence on ABD and Virat

The two have been the lone batting warriors for RCB without any support.

Mr. 360 degrees (ABD) and Mr. Consistent (Virat) had joined their forces in 2011. The sight of two of the greatest cricketers playing together was a relief for the fans. However, these two have now become the only batting support for this team.

There has been no other batsman who has performed for RCB. These two have been phenomenal, but the opening and the middle-order has been very weak. This has prevented RCB from making big totals mostly in their home ground Chinnaswamy which is known for batting friendly pitches. Due to this RCB have not been able to win matches over here, because the opposition batsmen have taken their bowlers for runs as well.

They have dropped and tried different batsmen in the different season, most recently being Quinton De Kock and Brendon McCullum, but everyone has failed to deliver.

If RCB want to win the IPL title this time, they will need to look out for a settled and proper batsman who can help to reduce pressure on Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers.
