#2 Glenn Maxwell (Delhi Daredevils)
Glenn Maxwell was one of the big buys for the Delhi Daredevils in the 2018 IPL Player Auction. The swashbuckling all-rounder from Australia was bought for INR 9.4 Crore but failed to impress for the Delhi Daredevils and scored just 168 runs in 13 innings picking up 3 wickets. He has been hot property in IPL auctions before due to his destructive abilities but hasn't performed too well in IPL.
He has had a good year otherwise and is ranked 1st in the list of T20I All Rounders according to the ICC Rankings. In 2018, he has scored 852 runs in 30 innings scoring at an average of 36 with a strike rate of 152 which highlights his batting abilities.
He has been a source of strength for Australia in the absence of Warner and Smith and has done a decent job with the bat so far. With many teams lacking firepower in the middle order, they'll be hoping that Maxwell will play well for their team if they sign him.

Aaron Finch was released by Kings XI Punjab along with several other big names like Yuvraj Singh and Axar Patel. The Australian captain has had a great season post IPL and will certainly be on the radar of teams looking out for an opener. It's really interesting to see that the Kings lost patience with Finch while they have retained players like Mayank Agarwal who hardly performed.
Finch recently made history by posting the highest individual score by a batsman in T20Is and scored 172 runs against Zimbabwe. He is in the 2nd place in the ICC T20I Rankings and has scored 469 runs in 13 innings for Australia with an average of 52 and an absolutely destructive strike rate of 190. With such destructive abilities, Finch is the number 1 candidate for an opening slot in any team and should look to grab the opportunity if it arises.
