Steyn, the Proteas pacer is one of the most feared bowlers in the world of cricket. The fast bowler's never-ending injury woes started to plague him after the end of 2015 World Cup. Since then, he hasn't played a handful of matches.

He has had to leave the test series halfway against India due to a damaged tissue in his left heel which sidelined him for six weeks. The pacer's career has been riddled due to a shoulder injury, heel injury, bone injury and a lot more to follow.

He has not been able to return to competitive cricket as a comeback would prove to be fatal once again.

He has played 86 test matches and 116 ODI's for South Africa. The fast bowler went unsold in the 2018 IPL auction due to the same.

With the age not on his side and past his prime, Steyn will look to end his amazing career by donning the yellow colours one last time.
