The baby-faced killer has shown us yet again that looks can be deceiving. The target to chase down was a mere 147. Even though it wasn’t much of a deal given the surface was a delight for the batsmen, it was a tricky total that could have caused problems if wasn’t treaded carefully.
De Kock knew that and hence wasted no time in settling down as he smashed his way to a 31-ball 44 and virtually gave his team a win within the halfway mark.
