#4 Manpreet Gony

Under the leadership of MS Dhoni, Manpreet Gony was at his level best. In the inaugural edition of the IPL, Gony played an integral role to take his team to the final. He scalped 17 wickets in 16 matches alongside his pace bowling partners Albie Morkel, Makhaya Ntini and Lakshmipathy Balaji.

The Punjab speedster faded away soon after his disastrous performances in the upcoming editions of the IPL. More often than not he found himself out of the team. Owing to his performances in the inaugural edition of the IPL, he was selected in the Indian side. Gony played two ODIs, in which he picked up two wickets.

He made his one-day international debut against Hong Kong. His failures in domestic cricket helped other bowlers to earn a call-up ahead of him. He suffered multiple injuries in his cricketing career which kept him out of the game.
