#4 Asif Ali(Islamabad United & Pakistan)

Since Shahid Afridi's departure from the international stage, Pakistan has tried unsuccessfully to find a player who could play the role of a finisher in their squad. Their search for a power hitter finally came to an end in the 2018 season of the PSL, when Islamabad United batsman Asif Ali played some swashbuckling cameos in the death overs including a match-winning one in the final.
Asif Ali was at his destructive best during the 2018 edition of the PSL, he scored 213 runs at an average of 30.42 & a strike rate of 169!. He usually left his best for the last scoring runs at a strike rate of 215.09 in the final five overs of the innings.
His performance of the tournament came during the finals when he smashed 26 runs off just 6 balls including 3 consecutive sixes against one of Pakistan's premier fast bowlers Hasan Ali to win the title for his side. Asif earned his national call-up immediately after the commencement of the PSL season for the T20I series against the West Indies.
His strike rates of 130.71 and 137.81 in ODI's and T20I's tell that he has been successful in transitioning to the highest level of the sport without changing his natural attacking game.
