The man who has scored the most number of runs in Ashes also has the best average among all. He is none other than, arguably the best batsman in the world, Australia’s Donald Bradman, who was knighted for his performances on the cricket field.


He is the only batsman to have scored more than 1000 Ashes runs and has an average over 70. Sir Donald Bradman’s 89.78 is the highest average in Ashes.
