Hard hitting Caribbean all-rounder Kieron Pollard rose to fame with the success he got for his home team Trinidad & Tobago in the 2009 CLT20 which led the Mumbai Indians to go bonkers for him in the succeeding IPL auction.

Having made his debut for them in 2010, Pollard has remained an integral part of the Mumbai squad. They reached the finals in 2010 but lost to CSK. They, however, avenged the defeat in the summit clashes of 2013 and 2015 as they routed CSK both times.

Pollard, the Man of the Match in the final of IPL 2013, gives brute strength to the middle order and with that the confidence of chasing down any total.

He seldom bowls now, but in the past has been a useful bowling resource often breaking crucial partnerships.

Not just this, the 6' 4' tall player has turned matches on their heads by his astonishing fielding and is one of the top five fielders in the IPL when it comes to catches taken.
