Manan Vohra, the opening batsman from Punjab has still not established himself as an aggressive opener. However, we have witnessed glimpses of his outstanding talent in the IPL wherein he had played fearlessly and has provided explosive starts at the top of the order.

He has racked up consistent performances in the domestic circuit and has a jaw-dropping strike rate of 131.77 in the IPL. If Manan Vohra manages to stay in the crease for more than five overs, we can expect him to go berserk and blitzkrieg for the next 15 overs. Such is the transition of Manan Vohra after the first five overs.

Delhi Daredevils lacked a reliable and consistent opener last season to support Prithvi Shaw last season in spite of having the likes of Colin Munro, Gautam Gambhir and Jason Roy. If they manage to rope in Manan Vohra during the IPL trade, their quest for a solid opener to assist Prithvi Shaw might finally come to an end. Having Manan Vohra in the lineup will not take up a foreign slot as well.
