IPL 2016: Highest/Most Run-Scorers, Leading Wicket-Takers after Delhi Daredevils vs Sunrisers Hyderabad (DD vs SRH)

Delhi Daredevils played Sunrisers Hyderabad on 20 May 2016 at Raipur. Sunrises Hyderabad has qualified for the playoffs. SRH still wanted a win in this game to fortify their position at the top of the table. On the other hand, Delhi Daredevils needed a win to stay in contention for the playoffs.

Delhi Daredevils won the toss and chose to field first.

David Warner(C), Shikhar Dhawan, Moises Henriques, Yuvraj Singh, Eoin Morgan, Deepak Hooda, Naman Ojha (WK), Karn Sharma, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Barinder Sran, Mustafizur Rahman.

Eoin Morgan made a comeback to the side. Barinder Sran replaced injured Ashish Nehra.

Trivia: Delhi Daredevils never played the same playing XI for two successive matches.

Sunrisers Hyderabad started well with the bat. Brathwaite’s brilliant fielding removed Shikhar Dhawan. That was not it, SRH lost Hooda in quick succession. Yuvraj Singh had to rebuild the innings with David Warner. This did not happen, though.

David Warner scored yet another half-century. This is his seventh fifty of IPL 2016. Sunrisers Hyderabad put 158 runs on the board.

Delhi lost Quinton de Kock early. Karun Nair took charge and scored a well-paced fifty. He held his ground until the end and made sure that Delhi Daredevils crossed the line. Delhi still has a chance to make it to the playoffs.

Virat Kohli is the leading run-scorer. David Warner launches himself to the second spot.

Zaheer Khan bowled an excellent first over. Overall, Zaheer Khan had a good game. Brathwaite had a great game. He took two wickets against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Sran had a good game aginst Delhi Daredevils. He took two wickets. Mustafizur Rahman picked up a wicket as well.

Mitchell McClenaghan holds the purple cap. Mustafizur Rahman moves to number five. Bhuvneshwar Kumar stays at number two.
