IPL 2017 KKR vs SRH: Sunrisers Hyderabad's probable playing XI against Kolkata Knight Riders, Match 14

Sunrisers Hyderabad will look to get back to winning ways on Saturday

The Sunrisers Hyderabad suffered their maiden defeat of the 2017 season on Wednesday when the Mumbai Indians got the better off them at the Wankhede Stadium. From the western coast, the team will travel to the Eastern coast on Saturday to take on the Kolkata Knight Riders and they will hope to get back to winning ways.

Here’s a possible predicted XI for the Sunrisers:

David Warner: The constant presence at the top and the leader of the batting unit. Since taking over the reigns at the franchise, the Australian has really grown as a cricketer and the franchise will hope that he provides them with a good start regularly at the top of the order and lays the platform for a big score.

Shikhar Dhawan: The other half of the opening pair and the one who needs to fire. Ever since last year, Dhawan has on most occasions played second fiddle to Warner and now needs to up his game and perform to the level which everyone knows he can.

Yuvraj Singh: The left-hander began the competition in explosive fashion in the opening game against the Royal Challengers and on Saturday, he will look to play in the same vein as that day and help provide support for the top order.

Deepak Hooda: Coming to bat at Number 3 in the last game, Hooda could not make a significant impact. But at Number 5, with 4-5 overs left, he could provide the side with the impetus it requires and contributes with the extra 20-30 runs.

Vijay Shankar: The Tamil Nadu all rounder found a spot in the XI last game and although he didn’t create that big an impact, he should be given another go to show the talent that he has got.

Naman Ojha: The wicket-keeper batsman, who has in the past batted in the top order, will find it hard to get considerable balls to bat in the lower-order. His keeping will be vital for the defending champs across the competition.

Ben Cutting: The man who has given the Sunrisers the most vital runs at the end. Be it the final last year or the opening game of this IPL, the Australian has certainly proved his worth as a batsman and if the opportunity comes his way, he will need to do more of the same.

Rashid Khan: The most impressive bowler of the competition so far. The Afghanistan leg-spinner has captured the imagination of everyone in the IPL with his bowling and Warner will bank on him once again on Saturday to deliver the goods.

Bhuveshwar Kumar: A bowler, who is fast turning into a key cog in the Sunrisers wheel. In the presence of the likes of Mustaifizur Rahman and others, he often does not get the credit he deserves, but he surely is an important member of this setup and Warner will need his services, both at the start and end of the innings.

Mustafizur Rahman: The Bangladeshi bowler, who has just come in after playing against Sunrisers, did not look in his elements on Wednesday and will look to create a bigger impact in the match against Knight Riders on Saturday.

Ashish Nehra: The man who will most probably open the attack with Bhuvi. This will be a crucial IPL for Nehra if he harbors any hopes of playing the Champions Trophy in England in June
