Henriques had a good IPL 2017 with Sunrisers

Moises Henriques was one of the successful all-rounders in IPL. The Australian has scored almost 1000 runs in IPL at a strike rate of 130 and picked up 37 wickets at an economy rate of 8.38.

With 277 runs at an average of 46 and a strike rate of 136, the 31-year-old was a consistent player for Sunrisers Hyderabad last season. He scored a lot of runs in the middle overs and bowled some useful overs.

What KXIP lacked this season was a quality all-rounder. They paid a whopping Rs 6.2 crores for Marcus Stoinis in the 2018 auction and it turned out to be a disaster. With only 99 runs and three wickets from seven games, Stoinis was a complete failure this season. Also, he conceded a lot many runs (11 runs per over) in his bowling.
