#2 Yuvraj Singh

Yuvraj Singh was back with his original franchise after many years. More importantly, he was playing for his home team – Punjab. But once again, Yuvraj wasn’t at his best in the IPL. Over the years, the stylish left-hander has been picked for huge amounts of money in the auction but has never justified that price tag.
He couldn’t make a permanent place in the side as he was constantly in and out of the side. Yuvraj scored just 65 runs in 8 innings at an average of 10.83 and a strike rate of 89.04. These numbers aren’t good enough for any middle order batsmen.
The team management, later on, didn’t trust him as they sent Axar Patel before Yuvraj Singh when KXIP required 38 off 19 balls. Looking at his current form, he might be released by KXIP going into the next year’s auction.
