The defending champions, Mumbai Indians, will now move to Hyderabad for their second match of the season. Mumbai Indians will lock horns with SRH at the beautiful Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. It will be a crucial match for MI as they will be looking forward to gaining the much-required momentum. Mumbai will be hoping for improved performance. Whereas SRH would be riding high on confidence after their win against Rajasthan Royals. 

The Sunrisers Hyderabad rushed to a nine-wicket victory against Rajasthan Royals in their first match of the season. The 2016 champions, SRH, opted to bowl first against Royals. While bowling first, Sunrisers restricted Royals to just 125 in 20 overs. As expected, 126 didn't prove to be too much for SRH as they chased down the target with 4.1 overs remaining.

On the other hand, Mumbai Indians didn't have a good start to the tournament as they lost the season opener to Chennai Super Kings by one wicket. After losing the toss, Mumbai Indians were asked to bat first. While batting first, MI scored 165 runs in 20 overs. Chasing the target of 166, CSK were down at 84-6. However, Bravo's heroics denied a win in the season opener.
