Here are the player ratings from the match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings.

Chennai Super Kings chased down the target of more than 200 runs for the second time in this year's IPL to defeat Royal Challengers Bangalore by 5 wickets.

After being put into bat, Royal Challengers Bangalore scored 205/8 in their 20 overs, courtesy AB De Villers 68 runs off just 30 balls and equally handy contributions from Quinton de Kock who scored 53 runs off 37 balls and Mandeep Singh who scored 32 runs of just 17 balls.

Chasing a huge target of 206, Chennai Super Kings were tottering at 74/4 in 9 overs, before Ambati Rayudu and MS Dhoni led a remarkable turnaround by adding 101 runs for the 5th wicket of just 47 balls to bring Chennai back into the match.

After Rayudu's dismissal for 82 runs in the 18th over of Chennai innings, MS Dhoni along with Dwayne Bravo put on an unbeaten 32 runs partnership of just 11 balls to help Chennai Super Kings win the match out of nowwhere, as RCB's death overs bowling got badly exposed once again.

AB de Villers 68 runs off just 30 balls went in vain.

Quinton de Kock- 8.5/10

The South African wicketkeeper finally converted his good start in the tournament and scored 53 runs off 37 balls which included one four and 4 huge sixes, and also affected the stumping of Sam Billings of the bowling of Yuzvendra Chahal.

Virat Kohli- 4/10

RCB skipper, Virat Kohli got off to a good start with the bat, but failed to convert it into a big score and was dismissed in the 5th over by CSK paceman Shardul Thakur for 18 runs.

AB de Villers- 10/10

South African superman AB de Villers smashed Chennai bowlers all over the park on his way to a superb knock of 68 runs of just 30 balls. In his knock of 68 runs, de Villers smashed 2 fours and 8 huge sixes, with one of those sixes going out of the Chinnaswamy Stadium and measuring a huge distance of 111 meters.

Corey Anderson- 1/10

The New Zealand all rounder had a forgettable match with both bat and ball. With the bat, Anderson was dismissed for just 2 runs by Imran Tahir, and with the ball, Anderson failed to defend 16 runs off the final over and ended with expensive bowling figures of 3.4-0-58-0 which cost RCB the match.

Mandeep Singh- 8/10

Mandeep Singh played the role of a finisher to perfection and scored a quickfire 32 runs off just 17 balls by hitting a solitary four and 3 sixes, and also took a catch of dangerous Suresh Raina of the bowling of Umesh Yadav.

Colin de Grandhomme- 5/10

The New Zealand all rounder did not do much today, as he came into bat in the last few overs and scored a quickfire 11 runs off just 7 balls before being run out by MS Dhoni in the 19th over. Colin de Grandhomme did not get a chance to bowl despite the main bowlers leaking runs.

Pawan Negi- 3/10

Just like Corey Anderson, Pawan Negi who replaced Mannan Vohra in today's match had a horrible match, as he was run out for a duck in the final over of the RCB innings, and his bowling was smashed by Ambati Rayudu and MS Dhoni despite picking up a wicket of Shane Watson in the 1st over.

Washington Sundar- 4/10

The Tamil Nadu youngster scored a quickfire 13 runs off just 4 balls with the bat, but was expensive with the ball and conceded 14 runs in his solitary over, and was never brought back to bowl again by Virat Kohli.

Umesh Yadav- 4/10

The experienced Indian was dismissed for a duck and bowled an economical spell of 4-0-23-1. But Umesh Yadav cost RCB the match when he dropped a sitter of Ambati Rayudu of the bowling of Corey Anderson.

Mohammad Siraj- 5/10

The Hyderabadi pacer was unlucky to concede 48 runs off his 4 overs, despite bowling well in the death overs as most of his good balls went for boundaries courtesy of brilliant batting by CSK skipper MS Dhoni.

Yuzvendra Chahal- 8/10

The Indian leggie was RCB's best bowler in the match, as he conceded just 26 runs in his 4 overs and picked up 2 wickets.

Shane Watson- 1/10

Former Australian all-rounder, Shane Watson had a rare off day as he was dismissed in the 1st over of Chennai innings for just 7 runs and conceded 21 runs from his 2 overs.

Ambati Rayudu- 10/10

The Indian discarded batsman was sensational with the bat and scored 82 runs from just 53 balls which included 3 fours and 8 sixes, and in the process won the Orange Cap for most number of runs by the batsman in IPL 2018 so far.

Suresh Raina- 2/10

Mr. IPL, Suresh Raina had an off day and was dismissed for just 11 runs by Umesh Yadav.

Sam Billings- 4/10

Just like Suresh Raina, English batsman Sam Billings could not contribute much with the bat as he was dismissed for 9 runs by leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal. But, Billings had a good day in the field and also took the prized catch of dangerman AB de Villers who was smashing CSK bowlers to all parts of the ground.

Ravindra Jadeja- 2/10

Ravindra Jadeja's poor IPL season continued, as he was dismissed for just 3 runs by leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal and conceded 22 runs from his 2 overs. As always, Jadeja was electric in the field and affected the run out of Pawan Negi.

MS Dhoni- 10/10

The CSK skipper continued his superb performance in IPL 2018, with another match-winning unbeaten knock of 70 runs off just 34 balls and hit one four and 7 huge sixes to completely stun RCB. On the field, Dhoni was as sharp as always and affected the run out of Colin de Grandhomme at the fag end of RCB innings.

Dwayne Bravo- 6/10

The West Indian all rounder scored unbeaten 14 runs off just 7 balls and was involved in unbeaten 32 runs partnership of just 11 balls for the 6th wicket with skipper MS Dhoni to lead Chennai Super Kings to a 5 wicket victory. With the ball, as always Bravo bowled superbly in the death overs and conceded 35 runs from his 4 overs.

Harbhajan Singh- 1/10

The experienced off spinner did not have a good match, as he struggled with the ball and conceded 24 runs in his 2 overs.

Deepak Chahar - 2/10

The Rajasthan seamer failed to replicate his good performance with the ball from his previous match against Sunrisers Hyderabad and leaked 20 runs in his 2 overs.

Shardul Thakur - 4/10

The Indian pacer was expensive with the ball and conceded 46 runs from his 4 overs but managed to pick up two important wickets of RCB skipper Virat Kohli and Mandeep Singh.

Imran Tahir- 1/10

The South African spinners was taken to cleaners by his fellow countryman AB de Villers in his starting 2 overs, but recovered to dismiss his tormentor and Corey Anderson to bring CSK back in the game and finished with a bowling spell of 4-0-35-2.
