IPL 2018 - Scientific Astrologer predicts the winner

<p>

IPL 2018 started on an unpleasant note with two astrologically strong players in Steve Smith and David Warner losing their captaincy, and with that their teams the chance to win the event. While Ajinkya Rahane doesn't have a horoscope strong enough to win a mega event like IPL, Kane Williamson is a tad too young to do it.

Mentor Shane Warne’s horoscope doesn’t promise another famous victory with Rajasthan Royals, and coach Tom Moody is just coming off a victory in the Bangladesh Premier League as the successful coach of Rangpur Riders. He has just diluted his luck factor a bit there. So in my opinion, Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad have no chance of winning this IPL.

The experts will have you believe that Delhi Daredevils have the best-assembled squad and hence a high chance of glory. That may not be true astrologically though. With a couple of IPLs already under their belt, the 1981-born captains Gautam Gambhir and Mahendra Singh Dhoni cannot win an IPL ever again.

They both have achieved all that their horoscope promises at international and club level and have exhausted their karmic quota for success. Hence, Delhi and Chennai have no chance of winning this IPL, however menacing their teams look like.

Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Kings XI Punjab and Royal Challengers Bangalore are the only teams with any realistic chance of winning the event. KKR have the least chances as they have a weak captain in Dinesh Karthik.

Karthik wouldn’t be able to replicate Gambhir's success and inspire the thin-on-resources team to greater heights. The only chance they had was if Robin Uthappa was the captain instead of being deputy to Karthik.

Mumbai Indians will find it difficult to win a fourth title under captain Rohit Sharma and a second one in a row under coach Mahela Jayawardene.

Though Rohit has the best horoscope amongst captains, two strong captains in the fray with no prior IPL wins lowers his chances. Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders have the same core of players who have helped them win previous tournaments, and that is exactly what will go against them.

D'Arcy Short, Jofra Archer, Colin Munro, Ben Dwarshuis, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Manan Vohra, Sarfaraz Khan, Evin Lewis and Akila Dhananjaya are a few of the names that will become common in every household by the end of the IPL 2018.

The strongest contenders for the title this year are Kings XI Punjab and Royal Challengers Bangalore. Both have strong coaches, great teams and most importantly the best captains (astrologically) at the moment.

Both Kohli and Ashwin have fantastic horoscopes with Uranus, Planet-X (2007 RH283) and Planet-Z (2008 FC76) in exaltation, and it is difficult to separate the two.

Expect Ashwin to be an innovative and fearless captain. Also, Kohli has an astrologically well-rounded team in place to win a tournament that has eluded him for so long.

In my humble opinion, it would be either Ashwin or Kohli who would be holding the trophy aloft on the 27th May at Wankhade.
