The Bangladeshi left-arm pacer was bought by the Mumbai Indians for just INR 2.2 crore at the 2018 IPL auctions.

It was considered as a bargain-buy considering his prowess with the cutters and yorkers in the death-overs.

One of the main members of the 2016 IPL winning Sunrisers squad, Rahman once again failed to deliver after his dream debut season in which he took 17 wickets.

The talented pacer played just seven out of the fourteen league games for Mumbai this season, in which he managed seven wickets, with a far from an impressive economy of 8.36.

A good show in the opportunities he got, would have certainly earned him a permanent spot in the eleven as Mumbai missed a quality overseas pacer to partner Jasprit Bumrah.

Unfortunately, Mumbai did not get the 'Fizz' they expected this season.
