We got to witness an Englishman and an Australian form an unbreakable partnership. Bairstow’s form and quick scoring ability took some pressure off the rest of the batting lineup. He was scoring runs for fun and hammered the bowlers.
While he didn’t finish the tournament, Bairstow’s batting left a huge mark on the season. He scored a total of 445 from 10 matches at a strike-rate of 157.24. His tally of 445 runs is the highest for a player in his maiden IPL season.
His departure impacted SRH to some extent but Warner was able to steady the ship when required.

If ever given a chance to change a storyline, Sunil would have booked Roman Reigns to end The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak instead of Brock Lesnar. According to him, The Tribal Chief needed the victory more than Brock Lesnar, as the latter was already an established performer when he defeated ‘Taker. He would’ve also made that as Taker’s final match.
