The Kings XI Punjab made headlines for the signing of mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy for ₹8.4 crore at the player auction for IPL 2019. He seems to be the best uncapped potential in the side considering how much the side has paid for him. The price tag might have its effect on Chakravarthy and the fact that he's a player who doesn't have much domestic experience could hurt the team.

But there are greater chances of him becoming a spin sensation. Chakravarthy is a highly economical bowler who hardly strays from his line. His grip is very hard to read and it's very difficult to pick the spinning ball and at the pace he bowls, those kinds of balls almost always result in a wicket.

Another uncapped talent will be Ankit Rajpoot who grabbed a 5-for playing for the side last season. Rajpoot is someone who swings the ball very well and is very effective with the new ball. He is likely to make it to the playing XI for most of the matches.
